As a 2023 honors graduate of Vance-Granville’s Paralegal Technology program, Clarence “Alex” Sanderford demonstrated exceptional initiative and drive. His leadership skills shone brightly during his tenure as president of the VGCC Student Government Association, where he actively participated in numerous campus activities, including a memorable mock trial.
Clarence’s academic journey didn’t stop there. He seamlessly transitioned to North Carolina Wesleyan University (NCWU), where he is now double-majoring in Religious Studies and Criminal Justice. This ambitious academic pursuit reflects his unwavering commitment to learn all he can and improve the world around him.
Beyond academics, Clarence has embraced the vibrant campus life at Wesleyan. As an esports competitor, he has found a unique way to balance his rigorous studies with his passion for gaming. Additionally, his role as research assistant for a practicing attorney has given him invaluable hands-on experience in the legal field.
Clarence’s future is as bright as his past achievements. Upon completing his bachelor’s degree, he plans to attend law school, where he will undoubtedly continue to excel and make a significant impact in the legal community.
