The Vance-Granville Community College Foundation (VGCCF) proudly announces a generous $3,000 annual scholarship established by Brightspeed, the nation’s third largest fiber builder empowering families and businesses with multi-gig-speed connectivity, to support students pursuing their educational goals. The Brightspeed Bright Futures Annual Scholarship will be awarded to one deserving student and used for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Brightspeed’s investment reflects its commitment to strengthening communities by supporting students in achieving their educational and career aspirations. Through this scholarship, Brightspeed aims to help remove financial barriers and empower students to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.

Students planning to attend VGCC in fall 2026 are encouraged to apply for the Brightspeed Bright Futures Annual Scholarship beginning in May. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate a commitment to their education and a desire to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
