UNCG Guarantees Admission for Transferring Business Students

|
News, Program News

Current students and graduates from VGCC’s Business Technologies programs can transition into a four-year degree with confidence, thanks to a new initiative by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

UNC Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business and Economics has launched the UNCG AAS Business Guarantee, providing a clear and guaranteed pathway for North Carolina community college students with Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in business-related fields.

Eligible students receive guaranteed admission and can transfer up to 64 credit hours into a Bryan School bachelor’s degree, helping them graduate faster while building on the coursework they have already completed.

Designed for AAS graduates in business programs, the initiative offers a structured transfer plan and personalized advising to support student success from admission to graduation. There is no time limit on when students completed their degree to when they apply to transfer—meaning that past graduates of VGCC’s Business Technologies programs may also take advantage of the UNCG AAS Business Guarantee.

Qualifying Associate of Applied Science degrees include:

  • Accounting
  • Business Administration
  • Information Technology
  • Office Administration
  • Supply Chain Management

The UNCG Bryan School offers bachelor’s degree programs both online and in person. For information on degree and concentration options, visit the Bryan School AAS Business Guarantee page.

To learn about additional transfer options available to Vance-Granville Community College students, visit VGCC’s online Transfer Center or call (252) 738-3255.
