About VGCC Counseling, Accessibility, & Support Services

Vance-Granville’s Counseling, Accessibility, & Support Services Department exists to remove barriers to student success both inside and outside the classroom. We work to provide appropriate accommodations to any enrolled student with a physical, emotional, or learning disability. We also help students find resources for food, housing, clothing, and other basic needs.

Additionally, our Student Assistance Program (SAP) provides confidential, short-term counseling and personal consultation—offered to all students and their household members for free. The SAP also provides student-life resources for such issues as legal/financial consultation, online learning, and more.
