Vance-Granville Welding Technology instructors recently teamed up with Boy Scouts of America Troop 357 to ignite a passion for welding! During the recent Merit Badge University event at Raleigh’s Highland United Methodist Church, these young Scouts donned their safety gear, picked up their torches, and delved into the world of molten metal. Under the expert guidance of VGCC instructors Allen Tharrington and Austin Finch, every Scout that participated successfully earned his welding badge.
