VGCC Drama is back on stage this spring with Marc Camoletti’s “Boeing, Boeing,” the high-flying physical comedy that won the Tony Award for Best Revival in 2008.
This 1960s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending”—until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris (and Bernard’s apartment) at the same time.
Eight Vance-Granville students make up the production’s cast and crew. They include Andres Agamez Davila, Danielle Anderson, Annabelle Arness, Aidan Bowen, Eon Hicks, Tyric Keith, Cesar Rojas, and Annie Walker. Department chair Betsy Henderson serves as the play’s director.
