Join us virtually to gain tools and resources to help navigate conversations about suicide, suicidal thoughts, self-care, help, and much more. The Reconnect for Resilience orientations offer adults a set of practical tools to help attendees de-stress and stay well when times are tough. The simple, easy-to-use strategies are meant for people of any age or background to use as we work together to build our own and others’ resilience. In this presentation, participants will learn what happens to our brains and bodies when we are stressed. Attendees will also learn a few of our many tools to help them stay healthy and connected to others during times of stress Presented by Kayla Wells (Meridian Behavioral Health Services), Monica Kearney (Safe Space), and Cathy Davis and Malik Hargrove (Vance-Granville’s CASS Department).
