Manufacturing Day (or “MFG Day,” for short) helps students explore real career pathways in an industry that’s high-tech, high-paying, and full of opportunity—right here in central North Carolina. Vance-Granville Community College is joining the movement to inspire the next generation of creators and problem-solvers at our 2026 MFG Day event!

- Location: VGCC Main Campus Civic Center

This event is designed to give local learners a firsthand look at the world of modern manufacturing, where creativity, innovation, and technology come together to create the products we all depend on. Students will have the opportunity to try out various types of advanced manufacturing equipment such as drones and robotics, as local industry representatives engage and build excitement about manufacturing careers that will help their communities and future generations thrive.
Registration for this year’s event is now open. Event organizers encourage attendees and vendors to sign up early as space is limited.
