VGCC Offers Floral Arranging Course

Need tips on how to better utilize all your fresh spring flowers? Vance-Granville Community College has just the course for you.|

Henderson florist Tommy Thompson will instruct a class on Floral Arrangements for seven weeks, beginning March 17, on VGCC’s main campus. Classes will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. in Room 5230.

Participants in the class will learn how to arrange silk and fresh flowers, make attractive bows and coordinate colors for the home and business environment, Thompson said.

Cost of the course is $30. Interested person may pre-register by calling the Continuing Education Department at 492-2061, ext. 3316, or they may register at the first class.
