BOND ENDORSEMENT

Ginnie Currin, left, executive director of the Granville County Chamber of Commerce, and Robert Gorham, center, chamber president, present a resolution passed by the chamber in support of the Higher Education Facilities Bonds to James D. Edwards, marketing director of Vance-Granville Community College. Passage of the bond referendum on Nov. 7 will provide VGCC with more than $17 million for construction and renovation, $3,879,202 of which will go to the South Campus between Creedmoor and Butner. The Granville County Board of Commissioners and the Granville County Board of Education also have endorsed the bond referendum.
