GED Testing Service

The HSE test is a high school equivalency credential. Students receive when they pass all official tests on each of four subject areas.

Reasoning Through Language Arts (150 minutes)
Mathematical Reasoning (115 minutes)
Science (90 Minutes)
Social Studies (90 minutes)

The cost of the high school equivalency test complete battery is $80.00 ($20.00 per content area test). The testing fee is subject to change by the State Board of Community Colleges. VGCC is a Pearson Vue Authorized Test Center and is approved to deliver the 2014 HSE test on computers at three campus locations: Main, South, and Franklin. HISET

Mathematical Reasoning (90 minutes)
Science (90 Minutes)
Social Studies (70 minutes)
writing (120 minutes)

The cost of the ETS test fee for each subtest is $10.75 for computer-delivered tests and $15 for paper-delivered tests. This includes the exam, scoring and reporting. The testing fee is subject to change by the State Board of Community Colleges. VGCC is a HISET Authorized Test Center and is approved to deliver the ETS test at three campus locations: Main, South, and Franklin.
