VGCC Workshop Will Help You Discover The State Of Your Financial Planning

Vance-Granville Community College will offer “Financial Workshop for Individual Investors,” a five-week introduction to financial planning.

Clem Seifert of Henderson, a financial consultant, will teach the class, as he has several times in the past for the college. He said the sessions will include types of investments, including stocks and bonds, retirement planning, annuities and estate planning.

“It will be an informal, interactive class in which participants are encouraged to ask questions and to offer their investing experiences,” Seifert said.

Classes will begin Thursday, April 27, and run from 7 to 9 p.m. each Thursday through May 25.

Cost of the course is $22.50, plus the cost of a book at $20.
