VGCC Vocational Programs Students Collect Food For Area Families

The VGCC Vocational programs collected food for families in need, and Keith Tunstall, advisor to the Vocational Council, said the daytime welding class’ efforts were “really outstanding.” The above photo shows more than 2,700 food items that were collected. Antonio Perry, Welding’s representative to the Vocational Council, said he appreciated the efforts and contributions of his classmates. “Even though there are some youths out there in trouble, doing drugs, doesn’t mean we all are,” he said. “The Welding students are devoted to their classes and are happy to give to families in need.”
