VGCC To Run BioFrontiers Booth At Fair

For the second straight year, the N.C. Community College System will man a booth in the BioFrontiers building at the North Carolina State Fair Oct. 18-27. Since VGCC is on the front lines of this training with our BioWorks program at the Franklin County Campus, our personnel will staff the booth on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The BioFrontiers building is located just inside Gate 11 off Blue Ridge Road. In addition to the community college involvement, all facets of North Carolina biotechnology will be featured in the exhibits.

If you’re at the State Fair on Oct. 19, stop by and see Garland Elliott, Lorna Hall, the instructors and students from the BioWorks program who will be representing VGCC to thousands of visitors.
