VGCC Seminar focuses on “surviving” workplace stress

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar, entitled “Survival Tips for Dealing with Stress at Work,” from 9 a.m. until Noon on Wednesday, Nov. 2 in room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

John Formica of Charlotte will lead the seminar, in which he will help participants learn to get control over their workdays, enhance relationships at work and become more productive. He will offer important tips on how to deal with stress by identifying its causes. Participants will also be taught how to plan their days, reduce frustration, accomplish more on the job and perhaps even create a “fun factor” at the workplace.

VGCC Small Business Center Director Diane Finch advised that space is limited for this free seminar. To reserve a seat, pre-register by calling the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3275 or 738-3240.
