VGCC Seminar focuses on Success in tough economy

Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will offer a free seminar in November that can help local business owners find success in an economic downturn. The seminar, entitled “Business Success in Tough Times,” will be held from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Nov. 19 in room 7107 on the college’s main campus in Vance County.

In the seminar, which is a joint presentation of the Small Business Center Network of the N.C. Community College System and the UNC System’s Small Business & Technology Development Centers, participants will learn how to prepare for and even grow their businesses when the economic climate is stormy. A variety of resources and the opportunity for free business counseling will be made available to seminar participants. Dan Blankenship of Raleigh will serve as the instructor.

VGCC Small Business Center Director Diane Finch advised that space is limited for this free seminar. To reserve a seat, pre-register by calling the Small Business Center at (252) 738-3275 or 738-3240.
