VGCC Offers Substitute Teaching Class

Vance-Granville Community College will offer day and evening classes, beginning in August, to train substitute teachers for area public schools.

The day Substitute Teaching Class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday-Friday, and run from Aug. 29 to Sept. 12. The evening class will run the same dates from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday-Friday. All classes will be held on the VGCC main campus in Vance County.

Students who successfully complete the class will earn a substitute teacher certification.
