VGCC Offers Seminar on Starting Home-Based Business

For anyone who has ever thought of starting a business from home, Vance-Granville Community College’s Small Business Center will present a free seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 27.  The seminar will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 7107 of Building 7 on the college’s Main Campus in Vance County.

Mike Collins, president of The Perfect Workday Company in Raleigh, will lead the information-packed, three-hour seminar.  Collins, who has led numerous seminars at VGCC, will teach participants the basics of evaluating, planning, organizing and operating a home-based business.

VGCC Small Business Center Director Diane Finch advised that space is limited for this free seminar.  To reserve a seat, pre-register by calling the Small Business Center at (252) 492-2061, ext. 3239 or 3240.
