VGCC Day Care Center Treats Students to Halloween Carnival

VGCC’s Day Care Center celebrated its annual Halloween Carnival on Oct. 31. Many children, ranging in age from one to five years old, were in costume and could be mistaken for fairy princesses, pirates or super-heroes. They were able to enjoy various games, including mini-golf and “Pin the Tail on the Black Cat,” in addition to face painting and other art activities. Students finished by bouncing around in a “Moon Walk.” Many also trick-or-treated around the college’s main campus. About a dozen parents volunteered to help make the carnival a success, according to Day Care Center manager Denise Gill .
