VGCC Continuing Education Students Create Mural

Leila Brigham, right, Continuing Education art instructor at Vance-Granville Community College, and Pete Pernell of Allen’s Frameworks & Gallery, hang a mural painted by students in Brigham’s evening art class. Laurie Stephens of Oxford and Jim Goodwin and Gabe Hodges of Henderson selected the subject and completed the 50X77-inch painting in acrylics in four class sessions. It will decorate the walls of one of VGCC’s classroom buildings.
