SUPER STYLISTS

Angela Cozart of Creedmoor took first place April 10 in the annual Vance-Granville Community College Cosmetology Hair Styling competition. Cozart’s creation, “Ancient Times Over the Rainbow,” took top honors over dozens of cosmetology students from all four of VGCC’s campuses. Cozart is in the day program at South Campus between Butner and Creedmoor, and her model, Nikki Howell of Butner, is an evening student there. The top three in the competition are, from left, Lance Baker, stylist, and Nekeisha Gupton, model, from Franklin County Campus, second place; Cozart and Howell; and Omar Evans, stylist, and Arnetta Evans, model, Main Campus, third place.
