REVLON STARTS THIRD PRESIDENTIAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

Milton Thomas, left, Human Resources Director of Revlon Inc. in Oxford, presents $12,000 to Vance-Granville Community College President Randy Parker to endow a third Revlon Presidential Merit Award scholarship at the college. A deserving student will receive $1,000 each year from the new scholarship, beginning in the fall of 2005. Revlon has been a long-time supporter of the Vance-Granville Endowment Fund and Scholarship Program and has also endowed three Academic Achievement Awards that provide $500 each annually to three VGCC students.
