Nursing Assistant Classes Scheduled at VGCC Warren Campus

Vance-Granville Community College has scheduled Nursing Assistant I classes to begin on August 29 at its Warren County Campus.  These classes will run for nine weeks in Building 4 at the campus on Ridgeway Street in Warrenton.  Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Registration for the course will be held on August 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.  In order to register, a person needs proof of a negative TB skin test, a Social Security card, a state-issued picture identification card and the $95 registration fee.  Students will also buy a book, which costs $60, plus tax. 

Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will qualify as Certified Nursing Assistants I (CNA I). Jobs for CNAs are available at nursing homes, physicians’ offices and other healthcare facilities.
