Nurse Aide I Class Offered at VGCC Warren Campus

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a Nurse Aide I (CNA I) course at the college’s Warren County Campus in Warrenton, starting Sept. 17. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., concluding on Nov. 15.The Nurse Aide I program is designed to prepare students to become Certified Nursing Assistants. VGCC’s certification programs offer classroom education, laboratory training, and clinical experiences in local nursing homes and hospitals. Jobs for CNAs are available at nursing homes, physicians’ offices and other healthcare facilities.Registration will be held on Sept. 4 at 3 p.m. on the Warren campus, located at 210 West Ridgeway Street. To register for the course, a student should bring a Social Security card, a picture ID and a negative TB skin test result.
