Henderson Police Honor Guard Establish Scholarship

The founding members of the Henderson Police Honor Guard have established an Academic Achievement Scholarship at Vance-Granville Community College to benefit a student in the Criminal Justice Technology curriculum. The first $500 grant was awarded in September to Daniel Ray Tharrington, an HPD officer and VGCC student. Left to right in the photo are Lt. Irvin Robinson, Lt. Vance Johnson, Lt.
