FINAL INSTALLMENT

Dove, Knight & Whitehurst, Architects, have completed their donation to the Vance-Granville Community College Endowment Fund and Scholarship Program, which established a Presidential Scholar Award scholarship at the college. Dan Knight, right, a Norlina native and partner in the Rocky Mount architectural firm, makes the final installment to VGCC President Robert A. Miller. The Presidential Scholar Award provides a $1,200 grant annually to a Vance-Granville  student with a high academic average. Dove, Knight & Whitehurst have designed many of the Vance-Granville buildings, both on the main campus and at its three satellites in Granville, Warren and Franklin counties.
