Feeling Snaky

Children in the Vance-Granville Community College Day Care Center had the opportunity to get up close and personal with several reptiles when the Museum of Life and Science visited their school recently. Here, a museum representative allows Jack Cheever and Megan Stainback, both 4 year-olds from Henderson, touch a corn snake as part of a workshop on reptiles. The children also saw turtles, a bearded dragon lizard and an alligator during the presentation.
