Graduates should qualify for positions in mental health, child care, family services, social services, rehabilitation, correction, and educational agencies. Graduates choosing to continue their education may select from a variety of transfer programs at senior public and private institutions.
Graduates of the general HST track have found jobs in agencies such as the Department of Social Services, domestic violence centers, group homes, Job Corps and public schools. Graduates have also used the degree in order to advance within a job.
