The Career Services staff at VGCC is committed to providing our students and graduates with the necessary services, resources, and opportunities to define their personal career goals and prepare for future success in the job market and workplace. By offering individualized customer service, we support our students and graduates in identifying a career goal and outline the steps necessary to achieve success.

By building partnerships with area employers and community members, we are able to offer innovative opportunities to explore various careers and learn about the world of work.

Good career planning leads to greater job satisfaction and a more productive workforce. We encourage all of our students to invest time in career planning to achieve academic and career success.

Be sure to take advantage of the many free resources we have available to support our students' success!

Are you a student or graduate looking for a job? An employer who wants to post jobs with VGCC? Register with College Central Network - registration is free and easy!

Are you a new student? All new students must complete the FOCUS 2 career assessments before meeting with an advisor to register for classes.
Thinking of changing your major? Complete the FOCUS 2 assessments before making your final decision!
Undecided about your career goals and/or academic major? Complete the FOCUS 2 assessments!
The first step of learning about career exploration is learning about yourself.
