Basic Computer Skills Class Scheduled In September at Warren Campus

Vance-Granville Community College will offer a new Basic Computer Skills class at its Warren County Campus starting in September.  The class, which features Microsoft Office programs, will be taught on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m., from September 11 through November 15. 

All in one course, students will learn how to effectively use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, with some instruction on keyboarding and Internet skills also included.  Students who complete the course will be prepared to format documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations, while integrating all the various programs with one another. 

The course’s instructor will be Susan Lynch.
