A new student is someone who has never attended VGCC to obtain college credit.
VGCC has a variety of degrees, diplomas and certificates to get you ready for a career or college transfer. You can explore all of our programs and areas of study at the link below.
Complete an application for admission at http://www.vgcc.edu/application. If you do not have a Residency Certification Number (RCN), you must complete the residency process with the Residency Determination Service (RDS) before submitting your application.
Once you receive your admissions letter in the mail, activate your VanguardID to gain access to all your VGCC online accounts (WebAdvisor, Email, Moodle).
Complete your FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov and all financial aid documents in the “My Documents” section of your online WebAdvisor account.
We also offer scholarships from generous donors to our Endowment Fund, as well as from sources outside of the college who want to see our students succeed as well. Find out about our various scholarships!
