Sign Up For College's Emergency Notification System
Communication is a critical part of crisis management. In a crisis, college staff members and students must be alerted and told what is happening and what they should do. Vance-Granville Community College is planning on a variety of notification methods to alert students and staff to an impending crisis. One method will be the use of the college's Campus Cruiser system.
In an effort to help protect our students, VGCC has entered into a partnership with TimeCruiser to alert our students in the event of a crisis. TimeCruiser, owner of Campus Cruiser, VGCC's online student portal, has developed CruiserAlert.
CruiserAlert allows VGCC to contact students via e-mail, text messaging, and text to voice messaging. This option of notifying students is only available to students with a valid Campus Cruiser login.
