Government Association The SGA is designed to promote the general welfare of the college in a democratic fashion and to facilitate communication among the student body, the faculty, and the administration. Student government provides a means through which students can promote interest in student activities both on and off campus. Representatives are elected both by department and by student organization. Meetings are held in Building 8 Conference Room. For more information, contact Jasmine Hightower , advisor, in Room 2110. Our Mission We, the members of the SGA, in the firm belief that Student Government can result in individual growth and is a collective advantage to the students at this College, attempt to assure that student opinion and activities are an integral part of the College community. We will insure the development of freedom of thought, the exchange of ideas, and guarantee the rights and privileges of the students at this Institution of Higher Learning.
