GENERAL INFORMATION PRE-REGISTRATION
Every effort will be made to accommodate maximum participation in the courses offered but may be limited by classroom size. Agency heads or their representative should contact Vance-Granville Community College at the earliest possible date to reserve seats in classes. Approximately 30 days prior to course starting dates, pre-registration in the form of an email should be returned to Vance-Granville Community College. This pre-registration being submitted will hold your reservation(s) and to allow us to be prepared at the start of classes. When it is determined that a reserved seat will not be needed, please notify us as soon as possible so a stand-by applicant can be contacted. Walk-in registration will be allowed only if space is available. Courses are subject to cancellation due to insufficient enrollment. Every effort will be made to notify agencies at least seven days in advance when a class has to be canceled.

REGISTRATION
Official registration takes place at 7:55 a.m. (or 5 minutes before scheduled time) the first day of class. All students should report to the indicated Vance-Granville training location, no later than 7:50 a.m. (or 10 minutes before scheduled time) unless prior instructions advise otherwise.

FEE SCHEDULE
Members of North Carolina criminal justice agencies are exempt from registration fees. Some courses may require that a nominal cost be charged to your agency for student manuals to cover printing. This expense can be billed to your agency by completing a billing authorization letter or email submitted to the Business Office of VGCC.

OTHER INFORMATION
Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Students are expected to attend 100% of all sessions for course credit. Classroom dress code is business casual unless course participation requires other specific attire.
