GED Testing - 2012
For the 2011 Summer Semester, all new student registration will be done in the classroom. Registration consists of filling out the 8-page demographic booklet completely, the confirmation eligibility form, and the GED Testing Policy Form. Students must have all forms with you in order to test. New students should be aware that you may not be able to test if you do not bring these completed forms with you to the testing site, if you are a new student!! The new student must bring the demographic booklet, confirmation eligibility form, the GED Testing Policy form, and the $25 money order on the day of testing to the testing site. Students retesting in writing are to bring their $2.50 money order on the day of testing as well. If paying in cash, students must have the exact change. No registration will be done on the day of testing. Also, be sure students that are testing have North Carolina issued identification and a social security card with them each time they are scheduled to test. No identification means no testing.
Instructors: Continue to send the list with students who are eligible for testing. All lists are due in the Chief Examiner's office on the Thursday prior to the week of testing by 5:00 PM ONLY. Please do not submit lists more than 2 weeks in advance. The Chief Examiner's office will then schedule students for testing. It will be up to the student to find out when they will be scheduled for testing from their instructor.
