Returning and Readmitted Students
A student who previously attended Vance-Granville Community College but was not enrolled during the previous three years must reactivate an application with the Admissions/Records Office. If the applicant was enrolled in another college during the interval, he/she must request that college to send an official transcript of academic work to the Admissions/ Records Office. Students will:.
Registration Checklist
   
New Students New & Returning Students
  • Complete Application for Admission
  • Complete Financial Aid package. (Financial Aid Office can assist with application process.)
  • Submit official transcripts of previous education.
  • Complete or have waived Placement Test
  • Create your WebAdvisor log-in and REMEMBER it.

IMPORTANT:Students will receive curriculum credit for a course(s) only if they follow the proper college procedures outlined in the document. If any step is not completed, students will not receive a grade or credit for the course(s). This policy also applies to all students receiving any type of financial assistance.
  • Meet with your advisor. (New students can do this after orientation.)
  • Fill out registration form and have schedule input into computer or
  • Register online via WebAdvisor
  • Have ID updated
  • If another organization or scholarship is paying tuition you must go to the Business Office to verify payment.
  • Through WebAdvisor registration bill can be viewed and payments by credit card can be made online at the college's website (www.vgcc.edu). Payments by cash or credit card also will be accepted at any campus business office. Bills will not be mailed.
  • If you have a Pell Grant, you must review your account status on WebAdvisor.

  1. Students must make an appointment with their advisor to register.
  2. PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS:
    Monday, July 19 — Only Students who have 40 or more total earned credits on their VGCC transcript.
    • Online access through WebAdvisor starting at 5 a.m.
    • In person 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all campuses.
  3. Tuesday, July 20— Only Students who have 20 or more total earned credits on their VGCC transcript
    • Online access through WebAdvisor starting at 5 a.m.
    • In person 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all campuses.
  4. OPEN REGISTRATION FOR ALL STUDENTS:
    Wednesday-Thursday, July 21-22 & Monday-Thursday, August 9 & 12
    • Online access through WebAdvisor starting at 5 a.m.
    • In person 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all campuses.
