Testing Sessions for Online Students
Testing Sessions for Online Students

All testing for Online Adult High School and GED students will be scheduled by appointment only on the days and time indicated, unless other prior arrangements made with the instructor.

All online students will be required to physically come to a campus and register each semester and take placement testing (TABE) for any area previously scoring less than a 12th grade level. Any placement test over 1 year old is no longer valid and must be retaken.

For Adult High School students, these testing sessions will be for Exams and/or Mastery Assessments. These tests will be administered on computer. The number of students that can be accommodated at one time is limited. For those needing North Carolina Competency Testing for graduation, the following dates are tentatively scheduled in the GED testing lab (Room 7211):

* Dates and times will be announced

For GED students, the Official Practice Tests (OPTs) will usually be administered on paper and will be timed. For students taking all 5 OPTs, plan on 4 1/2 hours to complete testing.

For All students, the end of semester placement testing will be conducted on the schedule below. Failure to attend and complete the placement testing at least once before the end of the semester may result in denial of admission for the following semester.

The location of these sessions will be, unless you are told otherwise, listed on this page following the session dates. The start time of the sessions will be the same in each case -- 9:00 AM. See your instructor prior to going to the testing room.
