North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (ELS) |
Grant does not have to be repaid |
Student must be a North Carolina resident for at least one year, and must be enrolled for at least six credit hours per curriculum semester.
No additional applications are required for funding. If selected, students will be notified by Financial Aid Office.
Students must apply early during priority filing for grant consideration. |
It is estimated for 2007-2008 that there will be approximately 30,000 grants available to assist students. The value per grant will vary according to information that is generated from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid application.
Grants will range from $100 to $2,500 for the year. |

North Carolina Student Incentive Grant (NCSIG) |

No additional applications are required for funding. If selected, students will be notified by Financial Aid Office.
Students must meet basic eligibility requirements for Pell Grants and other specific State criteria.
