Scholarships

Apply by March 15th of each year for priority consideration. Students are encouraged to complete FAFSA application as well.  

Selections are completed by the Scholarship Committee in late spring and summer for the upcoming academic year.

These criteria are subject to change by the Endowment Board.

High School Scholar Award:

• Offered to High School Seniors in the top 20 percentile at the end of their junior year
  
  
Presidential Scholar Award:
• Must be Full-time Student
• Must demonstrate excellent scholastic record
  
  Presidential Merit Award:
• Must be Full-time Student
• Demonstrate excellent scholastic record
• Can be Newly Enrolling or Currently Enrolled Student
  
  Academic Achievement Award:
• Must be Full-time Student
• Must demonstrate excellent scholastic record
• Must be Currently Enrolled Student or Graduating High School Seniors
  
  Nursing:
• NC Student Loan Program for Health, Science, and Mathematics
  ***Note:  FAFSA required.  Applications are required through the CFNC website.
• Selections are made in the Fall of each school year
