How to Make an Appointment with a Counselor

  • Stop by Counseling Services located in Student Affairs (in Bldg 8 at the Henderson campus), or call us at (252) 738-3234 between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday thru Thursday, and between 8:30am and 2:30pm on Fridays
  • Appointments are usually 30-45 minutes long.
  • Your appointment will be kept confidential.
  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us at least a day's notice.
  • In the event of an urgent situation during evenings, weekends, or holidays contact Area Mental Health at 1-877-619-3761 or dial 9-1-1 and/or report to your nearest hospital emergency room.
