In honor of Black History Month, VGCC students are invited to enjoy the movie “The Tuskegee Airmen” in the Small Auditorium on Main Campus on Feb. 27. This 1995 film is based on the true story of the first African American combat pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. There will be two showings: at 12:30 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. Following the 3:00 p.m. showing of “The Tuskegee Airmen," a "soul food" dinner will be provided to the students who sign up for the film via e-mail to Jasmine Hightower at firstname.lastname@example.org, or via phone at 252.738.3445, or via a visit to her office (Room 8242) in Bldg 8.
This is presented free of charge by the Student Government Association and Student Activities office.
