Business Administration
| The Business Administration curriculum is
designed to introduce students to the various
aspects of the free enterprise system. Students
will be provided with a fundamental knowledge
of business functions, processes, and an understanding
of business organizations in today's
global economy.
Course work includes business concepts such as accounting, business law, economics, management and marketing. Skills related to the application of these concepts are developed through the study of computer applications, communication, team building, and decision making. Through these skills, students will have a sound business education base for lifelong learning. Many Business Administration and general education courses are available on all four of VGCC's campuses, day or evening, with some classes also available online. |
| Job Opportunities |
| Graduates are prepared for employment opportunities
in government agencies, financial institutions and businesses of all sizes. Most VGCC Business Administration graduates report that they earn between $20,000 and $40,000 per year within 2 years of graduating. |
| Testimonial |
| "My business curriculum courses gave me
both a thorough overall understanding of the
business world and valuable insight into the
various components of the modern business
environment. The instructors are dedicated and
will go the extra mile to help you master the material.
Classes are offered online and on campus,
both day and night. There is a schedule to match
almost any need. If you are thinking about attending
community college, I could not think of
a better place to improve your skills and your opportunity." – John W. Sides, graduate |
